TIM BROWN |
Tim Brown has worked professionally in the theatre
for over fifteen years, as a director, actor, and playwright. Tim
has directed over thirty-five productions regionally and nationally,
and performed in over forty-five different productions. His work
has been seen in Washington, DC, Milwaukee, Baltimore, New York City,
Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Toronto, Minneapolis, Winnipeg, and Chicago,
as well as in places as close as his current community of Allentown,
PA and as far away as Bratislava, Slovakia. He is a member of
the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC).
Tim has been a member of Funkopolis since 1998 and currently serves as the Artistic Director. He co-directed and performed several different roles onstage in the inaugural production of Funkopolis, 3 STORIES TO THE GROUND. He conceived, co-wrote and directed BOCHENSKI’S BRAIN, and directed the Funkopolis production of AUDIOPLAY TWO: SAFE by Jakov Lind for the Peculiar Works Big Art Festival in New York City. Peculiar Works has also commissioned two original pieces from Funkopolis, including a remembrance of Judson House in New York City, RITE #55: WONDERWALL ELEGY, which he also directed. His homage to Richard Foreman, WORDS FROM RICHARD, was invited to the Istropolitana International Festival of Puppetry. Tim made his premiere as a playwright with the Funkopolis production of AN EXQUISITE DREAM OF FIRE, which he also directed for its World Premiere at Theatre Project in Baltimore. In addition to his work with Funkopolis, Tim works as a free-lance director in his Lehigh Valley community, as well as in collaboration with theatres across the country. He served as Assistant Director for the Broadway premiere of SQUONK at the Helen Hayes Theatre in New York. Recent productions include PROOF at Cedar Crest College, and BATBOY: THE MUSICAL at The Theatre Outlet. Favorite theatrical experiences include working with Maria Irene Fornes on her production of MUD at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, and performing and working within the ensemble to create an original piece with Daniel Stein, entitled GOING FORWARD BACKWARD. Tim earned his BA in Theatre and English from Marquette University in Milwaukee, as well as his MFA in Theatre from Towson University, whose graduate program focuses on interdisciplinary, collaborative, and intercultural work. It was this program that served as the initial springboard for Funkopolis. |

KT Cort |
KT Cort is a graduate of Mason Gross, School of the Arts (Rutgers University) with a BFA in Theatre Production, Stage Management. She came to Pennsylvania in 2000 and spent three years at the Theatre Outlet as Resident Stage Manager and one year as Resident Technical Director. She is currently the Resident Lighting Designer for Moravian College's Arena Stage, and also works as a freelance Lighting Designer and Stage Manager. Most recent projects include A Midsummer Night's Dream (Starveling) at Cedar Crest College; Honk, The Philadelphia Story and Miracle (LD) at the Pennsylvania Playhouse; See How They Run, Aliya, and Our Town (LD) at Moravian College; The Lion in Winter (LD) at the Main Street Theater; The Emperor's Last Battle 2003-2004 Tour (LD&ASM) with CH Productions; Bat Boy: the Musical (SM), The Laramie Project (ALD), Dodgeball with Fat Kids : (World Premiere – LD & foley), Moonshine (SM), Too Much Light Makes the Baby go Blind (lights), and R.U.R (SM) at the Theatre Outlet. Icarus; The Baltimore Waltz (SM) at the Jameson Project; Duet for One (ASM) at the Levin Theatre; and Kiss of the Spiderwoman (ASM) at the New Theatre. She thanks deities, parents, loved ones, and cats for getting her where she is today. |

Justin DePaul - Previous regional acting credits include Bat Boy (Dr. Parker) and Cradle Will Rock (Larry Foreman) at the Theatre Outlet; Jesus Christ Superstar (Caiaphas), Arcadia (Capt. Brice), Phyllis Nagy's Scarlet Letter (Master Brackett), and The Rocky Horror Show (Narrator) at Civic Theatre of Allentown; Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol (Bookkeeper, Bob Cratchit, Marley's Father, Fred, The Shadow, etc.) with Prestige Productions; as well as local and not-so-local film credits including _In My Dreams_ (Twin Peaks Productions), _A Life Untitled_ (Spaceship Brain Productions), _Freddie Foolish_, and _Tip For a Pizza Man_. Justin also performed in the world premiere of the David Chase choral composition “The State of Our Union” a piece written for percussion, brass, and orator. Justin has a BA in Theatre from Susquehanna University where he was a member of national honorary dramatic fraternity Alpha Psi Omega. |

Christina Khannomee |
Christina Khannomee - Export Customer Service Representative for Just Born, Inc., thespian rock star by night, Christina began performing at a very early age for her family. During her childhood and teen years, she studied jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical and pantomime under the direction of Judy Bergio of Dance Design Studio in Easton, Pa. She won numerous awards while competing in regional dance competitions. Setting her sights for the stage, she welcomed such roles as Rosie Alvarez in "Bye Bye Birdie" and Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", among other productions. Christina broadened her acting, dance, and vocal talent with a 2 year course at the Performer's Studio. Her discipline to the craft is enhanced by her enlistment to the US Army as Military Police, which spanded from 1994-1997. After living abroad and a 9 year performing hiatus, she jumped back on stage in the musical, "The Cradle Will Rock" (Theatre outlet/Symphony Hall) and drama, "Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens" (Theatre Outlet). She has performed at various events, clubs and venues in the region to include Mayfair, Pride Fest, The Underworld Art Studio, The Fun House, Appalachian Brewing Company. She is credited to have been an integral part of the Velvet Crush dance company as a leading free-style dancer, and was a member of The Associated Mess, comedy improvisational group. In additional to being part of the Funkopolis ensemble family, she is a vocalist, co-choreographer, and dancer for the Inter-galactic bump band, Trap Door. She is thrilled to have their latest album featured on Apple's iTunes music store. |

David Evan Serfass |
David Evan Serfass, was born, raised and currently
resides in Bethlehem, PA. His involvement in
the theatrical process, some would argue, has been
apparent since birth. David, however, counts
his humble beginnings as an actor to early 1993. The
decision to pursue this art form followed him through
high school and college, participating in various productions
as Sweeney Todd, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Little Shop
of Horrors. A short, two year stay at Desales
University later, and David was out acting |
